Building Upgrade Priorities | Foundation: Galactic Frontier Wiki

Upgrade order to optimize construction times and flagship utility.

1. Critical Priority

The Crew Cabins (which reduce all construction times) and Cargo Holds (which increase trade rewards) should be prioritized. Upgrading these early has a compounding positive effect on your base development.

2. Important & Hangar Milestones

The Repair Cabins and Research Office are secondary priorities. Weapon systems and engines should only be upgraded when preparing for active conflict. Hangar upgrades offer minimal early-game return and should be delayed until major Core milestones (15, 20, 25, 30).
