How to handle flagship breakthroughs and the pity system of the cosmic slot machine.

1. Breakthrough Modules

Once flagship modules reach their level cap, breakthroughs are required to progress. Breakthroughs cost Prismatic Cores, which are rare and highly valuable.

2. Pity System Mechanics

Each upgrade cycle starts with a base success rate of 4% per attempt, backed by a safety count that guarantees success on the 40th try. As upgrade levels increase, success rates decline and the resource requirements per attempt rise.

3. The 3/6/9 Progression Path

Due to steep upgrade cost scaling, avoid focusing on a single flagship to level 9 immediately. Instead, adopt a balanced progression: elevate Gram modules to level 3, then Opportunity to 3, and then Demerzel to 3, before repeating the cycle for levels 6 and 9. Try to align breakthroughs with GvG or Top 100 events to secure points.
